Do we need a Director living in Hong Kong?
No. You do not need a Hong Kong resident Director. However, your Company Secretary must live in Hong Kong
How quickly must the Consent to Act as Director be filed?
Form NNC3 "Consent to Act as First Director" must be filed not later than 15 days after the date of incorporation of the company.
Are there restrictions on company names?
Yes. Simply it can't be the same - or close to - an existing company name or a trademark. There are also restrictions around using certain words like "bank". Don't worry, we an help you with this.
When should the annual return be filed?
The annual return should be delivered to the Registrar of Companies for registration within 42 days after the company's return date
What is the par value for a Share?
Par value, or nominal value, is the minimum price at which shares can be issued. In Hong Kong shares have no-par and so can be issued for any value.
Is it easy to issue new shares?
